In 2003 I started kiting here in the Netherlands. 2004 I was having my first sponsorships by Best, but I didn't do any competion that year. In 2005 I started with competions and became 10th in the race event at Grevelingendam, 3rd on another race event in Hargen.At the Dutch Championships I became 17th. 2006 I had a lot of exams at school and I just did 1 comp and ended 2nd there. After school I did the IKO instructor course to be able to pay my trip in the winter to Brasil for 3 months. That was one hell of a trip! Great wind, good vibe and loads of kiting! 2weeks after Brazil I went to Norway for snowkiting. Now I'm working at eXventure, a company that organizes events in extreme sports like kiteboarding, wakeboarding, mountainbike etc.
